Everyone’s skin is different and requires an individualised plan that is most appropriate to your needs. We use a mix of IPL, skin resurfacing peels and laser to address your concerns.

Laser // We have a laser that can perform multiple functions, depending on the handpiece we use. This allows us to customise our treatment to your needs. Our treatments can help even skin texture, decrease scarring, help with fine lines and wrinkles and soften pigmentation.

IPL // IPL is a pulsed light that is attracted to pigment or haemoglobin. This makes it very effective at treating pigmentation and redness, and broken capillaries. the treatment takes half an hour and if often described as feeling like a quick flash of heat. More than one session is usually required.

Laser and IPL treatments are an excellent choice for many people, however, there are some exclusions and contraindications to treatment. We do not perform treatment on pregnant women, minors (under 18) or on unhealthy clients. Certain skin conditions can also exclude someone from laser with us, like the tendency to keloid scar or untreated skin cancer. We assess your skin and medical history and will let you know if you are safe for treatment and if our treatments are likely to effectively address your concerns.

We use a mix of fractional laser (resurfacing) and IPL (breaks up pigmentation).
REDNESS
IPL helps to collapse surface capillaries, decreasing redness.
SCARRING
Depending on the scar type, we use fractional laser, needling or a more ablative laser.

We use a mix of IPL, needling and laser depending on your skin type.

WHICH ONE IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Depending on your skin concern and skin type, we will recommend either IPL or laser or a mix of the two.
IPL is excellent at helping with redness, broken capillaries and for certain types of pigmentation. Laser is great for collagen production, skin tightening, pore reduction and pigmentation.

Your skin type may also influence which treatment is best for you. Skin types that are fair or freckled can tolerate either treatment. Those whose skin is more melanogenic (meaning it can tan easily) may have a better outcome with a laser.

Our laser can also be used for skin resurfacing, which the IPL cannot do.
​
